12月24日（水）、ESS部員がクリスマスパーティーを楽しみました。クリスマスツリーを飾ったり、シークレットサンタっていうプレゼント交換したり、話しながらビンゴなどゲームを楽しく行いました。

（2年生）
“I enjoyed decorating the Christmas tree very much. I was very happy to be able to spend a great time with many people. クリスマスツリーを飾り付けるのがとても楽しかったです。沢山の人と素敵な時間を過ごすことができてとても嬉しかったです。” HA

（1年生）
“I played many games with ESS members. The activity I enjoyed the most was the present exchange. I had a lot of fun at this party!” FA

10月29日（水）、ESS部員がイングリッシュカフェ`のメンバと共にHalloween Partyを楽しみました。

（２年生）
“It was a lot of fun to decorate cookies. Also, I was very happy that many third year students joined this party too. クッキーを飾りつけるのがとても楽しかったです。また、3年生の先輩方も沢山来てきくださり、とてもうれしかったです。“ HA.

（１年生）
“I could communicate with many people by speaking English.” UR.
“It was fun chatting with everyone at the party. I also enjoyed searching for paper pumpkins. The sweets were delicious!” NM.
“I decorated cookies and played games, so I was very happy.” HK.
“I enjoyed making my original cookie the most! And I also talked and played games with ESS members.” FA.

　10月考査中の10月17日（金）、ESS部員6名（1年生4名・2年生2名）と留学生のMavisさん、Rosieさんの計8名が、狭間小学校の6年生の英語の授業に参加しました。授業は2部構成で行われ、北三生による英語ゲームとオーストラリア紹介、そして6年生による入国管理体験の活動を実施しました。どちらの活動も大いに盛り上がり、教室中が英語でのコミュニケーションの楽しさに包まれました。年齢を超えた貴重な交流の時間となり、参加したESS部員たちは「次もぜひ参加したい」と話していました。今後も、このような世代を超えた英語での交流がさらに広がっていくことを願っています。

（3年生）
I had fun painting the eggs. I painted the ALT teacher’s face on the egg. I’m glad I was able to make it well. The chocolate brownies the ALT teacher made were delicious! I hope many first-year students will join the club!　卵に絵を描くことが楽しかったです！ALTの先生の顔を卵に描きました。上手に作れてよかったです。ALTの先生が作ってきてくれたチョコブラウニーがとてもおいしかったです！1年生がたくさん入部してくれるといいなと思います！！

（3年生）
I was worried whether the first-year students would come, so I was happy that so many of them came!! Everyone was so happy when Mr. Ed made brownies for us. They were really delicious. We all had so much fun drawing on the eggs and taking pictures while chatting!!　私は一年生が来てくれるか不安だったのでたくさんの一年生がきてくれて嬉しかったです。エド先生がブラウ二ーを作ってくださってみんな大喜びでした。本当においしかったです。みんなで会話をしながら卵にお絵かきをしたり、写真を取れて本当に楽しかったです。

（2年生）
I was happy that so many first-year students came. Everyone’s drawings were unique. I was happy that I won the game afterwards and got to eat the ALT’s brownies. 1年生も楽しんでくれたみたいで良かったです。

（2年生）
We made Easter eggs by painting pictures on each egg. It was difficult to paint them, but it was a lot of fun. We were able to have a good time with the first year students who came to this party. I want to do many fun activities again this year.

　先月になりますが、10月考査の最終日である10月22日（火）に、ESS部員4名（1年生2名2年生2名）と本校に留学中のペランさん（1－6所属）の計5名が、狭間小学校へ英語活動のteacherとして行ってきました。部員たちの英語での自己紹介から始まり、スライドを使いながら①三田クイズ②世界クイズ③英語でお題あてゲーム④ペランさんクイズ　その他小学生から高校生への質問など、1コマでしたがたくさんの活動で、小学生たちも高校生たちも大いに盛り上がりました。部員たちも、小学生たちが熱心にクイズに答えようとしてくれたこと、また発音が美しいとほめてもらえ、自らの英語活動に自信がもてるようになりました。　今年度のESSは、外部からOGの方にアドバイスをいただきながら、楽しく、かつ日常で英語を使える機会を増やす活動を進め、部誌の作成も試みています。
　11月23日（土）にフラワー市民センターで行う「ハイマート・フェスタ」では、小規模ですが多文化ワーク・ショップを行います。ぜひお越しください！
