イギリス６日目、Tubeで移動し、MidCity PlaceビルにあるJETROロンドンに向かった。JETROロンドンでは、藤井寛次長と鵜澤聡氏からイギリスの政治経済動向について講義をしていただいた。また、「BREXIT」にともなう日英関係や日本企業への影響についてもお話をしていただいた。たくさんのデータを踏まえた説明や、イギリスの日本食事情など生徒にわかりやすい内容を交え、イギリスについての理解を深めた。生徒からはBREXITにともなうサプライチェーンの影響や労働運動の日英の違い、環境規制や取り組みについて質問した。なお、今回のフィールドワークには、自治体国際化協会（CLAIR）ロンドンの宇野真由美氏にアテンドを依頼した。

続いて大英博物館に立ち寄り、世界最高峰の規模と質をほこる展示を堪能した。昼食は英国で人気のある寿司チェーン「Wasabi」（韓国資本）でとった。この日はロンドンで３８℃という記録的猛暑で、店内がとても暑い状況であった。

その後、ホテル近くにあるMOL (Europe Africa) Ltd.（商船三井の現地法人）を訪問した。人事部長の杉山順一郎氏とドライバルク部門の秋山咲智子氏から外航海運業の特徴や会社紹介、現代の海運業が抱える課題について講義を受けた。LNG船で隻数世界一を誇るMOLは、油輸送や自動車輸送など６部門で事業展開している。今後世界人口の増加に伴い海運業界が成長産業である一方、様々な変動要因に直面したり、環境規制の対応に迫られるなどの課題を抱えていることを説明していただいた。また、模型や展示を使って船や海運業の歴史についても説明していただいた。

夕食はフランス料理屋「Cafe Rouge」でムール貝など海の幸を食べた。いよいよ明日はイギリス研修最終日となる。

〈生徒感想〉

Purpose: To know about Japanese companies in London and those who work in the companies, and the difference of concern with environmental issues between Japanese companies and the UK companies.

Main Findings: I learned many things from the lecture. First, Japanese companies in the UK don’t concentrate in London. Second, Brexit doesn’t make the number of investment in the UK. Third, the UK is good at research and development,ICT, medicines, food service. Fourth, the good points Japanese companies have are Japan brand, high performance, efficiency, interesting venture companies, and the quality of service. Fifth, the concern with environmental issues in the UK is much higher than that in Japan. In addition, we got very valuable data about the UK and Brexit and Japanese companies.

Impressions : I was very happy to ask what is the good points of Japanese companies. I want to make Japanese companies more global companies with this in mind. And I was surprised at the demonstrations on the environmental issues in the UK. And I thought regulating car in someareas is very good and Japan should do same one. It was amazing to see the office in the UK and hear about Japanese companies. This experience was very valuable for my future.

We went to JETRO London. We received explanations about economics of the UK and “Brexit”. They were very excited for me. My study is about problems of foreign workers. I heard that The UK residents don’t have good feelings to foreign workers. Especially, they don’t like workers of Eastern Europe. Because they said that they are robbed by them. But I knew that actually they were not robbed jobs by them. I was surprised by the fact. And I think that it is simmer to Japan. Also some Japanese people said that foreign workers will rob our jobs in the future. I thought a little. But my thoughts changed through this experience. It is very good for me. I want to use these experiences to grow.

We visited Mitsui O.S.K. Lines Ltd(MOL). We listened to Mr.Sugiyama and Ms.Akiyama. I was excited because I have studied supply chain management. I would focus on distribution in the international supply chain which is built across borders, so I was very glad to be able to listen to a lot of things about supply chain and distribution. For example, introduction of MOL, explaination of shipping industry and so on. Also, Mr.Sugiyama and Ms.Akiyama sufficiently answer our questions on our each study. I asked Mr.Sugiyama the question about the form of supply chain in the EU. My question puzzled him but he accurately answered my question. His answer was helpful information for my study. We would like to say many words of thanks.

ベトナム研修 6日目（最終日）。ベトナムでの全ての日程を終え、無事に帰ろうとしている。

帰国便はほぼ定刻通り、関空に着陸した。

入国・税関ゲートを通過し、最後に到着ロビーにて簡単に総括して解散した。

ベトナム研修 5日目。いよいよ発表会、交流会の当日となった。朝食後すぐにハノイ国家大学自然科学大学附属専科高校を訪問した。

まずは、フィールドワーク・研究について、まとめた成果をそれぞれの班ごとに現地高校生と協力して英語で発表した。

次に、ハノイ国家大学自然科学大学附属専科高校の日本文化クラブの生徒たちが歓迎の踊り（音頭）を披露してくれた。その後、竹を使った遊び（踊り）「ムア・サップ」を一緒にやって楽しんだ。

その後、我々が神戸や学校の紹介を行い、準備してきた折り紙、書道、クイズなどのレクリエーションを楽しんだ。レクリエーションの後には昼食も共にして、仲をより深める機会となった。

名残惜しくも、ハノイの高校生と別れた後、JVSへ向かった。ここは、ベトナム人を日本へ技能実習生として送り出す機関である。ここでは、日本語や日本文化・ルールなどを学び、介護や機械工作の技能訓練を行なっている。

JVSでは実際に行われている日本語の授業に参加させていただいたり、学んでいるベトナム人技能実習生と、やさしい日本語を使った交流を行った。日本語を学んでいる人と日本語でコミュニケーションすることで、普段何気なく使っている日本語に意識を向けることができた。さらに、外国人労働者の問題や日本の伝統文化などの研究を行っている生徒はアンケートに協力をしてもらい、自らの研究に役立てることができた。

交流の後、空港へ向かう前、夕食を食べ、またお土産を買うために、イオンモールへ向かった。

市内での活動を全て終え、ハノイ空港へ移動した。空港にて荷物整理、着替えなどを済ませ、帰国便（深夜便）の出発に備えた。

イギリス研修５日目。朝食後、Tubeと鉄道に乗り継いで、ロンドン郊外にあるBexley Grammar School（BGS）に向かった。BGSの選択科目で日本語を選択した生徒８名（１０年生～１３年生）を対象に、本校生徒と交流した。プログラムは、自己紹介のあと、BGSからジェスチャー当ての「シャレードゲーム」と言葉当ての「ハングマン」、本校から「フルーツバスケット」「人間知恵の輪」「船長さんの言う通り」を行った。続いて、各国の文化やスラング、各校の様子をスライドを使って紹介し合い、BGS生徒の引率で校内見学をした。最後に、オードブルやサンドイッチを食べながらBGS生徒と交流した。異文化理解を深めただけでなく、お互いに学習する言語がどの程度通用するのかがわかったよい機会となった。

午後はロンドン中心街に戻り、在英国日本国大使館を訪問した。財務省から出向している片岡修平一等書記官から、日英関係について主に経済的な視点から講義を受けた。また、永野裕明二等書記官からは、自身の留学経験をもとに、イギリスの大学で学んだ様子について説明を受けた。その後、生徒からは講義や自身の研究テーマに合わせた質問をし、片岡氏と永野氏から丁寧な回答を得た。なお、大使館には本校卒業生が２名が在職しており、急遽講義に参加し後輩に向けてアドバイスをしていただいた。

その後、夕食を中華料理屋「Joy King Lau」でとり、トラファルガー広場を経由して、「Her Majesty’s Theatre」にて昨年と同様のミュージカル「The Phantom of the Opera」を鑑賞した。

〈生徒感想〉

In Bexley Grammar School, I learned that what anime or manga the students in there like and what website they use to buy something. They like a lot of manga and anime. Even there are the anime that I don’t know. I was really surprised that they knew the anime which is little-known. And they have joined the event like comic markets in Japan as cosplayers. There anime culture is looks like Japanese one very much. They enjoy cosplay of Japanese anime characters. Also they said that they bought the costumes of them online. But they bought them in different websites we usually use. I wonder because of Brexit they use different websites other countries. In addition, some of them know anime bounding. I was also surprised. One of them was wearing the watch which was based on a Japanese anime character. He said that the watch was custom-made. He also said that items in anime bounding like the watch are very expensive. He said that the watch was 200 pounds. According to him, I found that being too expensive is a problem that anime bounding has. And l would like to solve this problem.

I went to the embassy of Japan in the UK. Also, I heard the presentation about society in the UK and Japan. The speakers were Mr. Kataoka and Mr. Nagano. The visit was a valuable experience for us. This was because we heard the current state of society in the UK and Japan from the views of government. Especially, I found two things in this presentation. I found that the UK was close to Japan. The UK and Japan are island country and virtually the same a income level and the same average wages. However, I also found the UK was different from Japan. I thought the UK was more advanced than Japan in labor system. Also, Mr. Kataoka and Mr. Nagano answered our questions. They had a wide knowledge of the various area. Therefore, they gave us many ideas from the various views. I will make use of this chance, run my study and think from the various views.

ベトナム研修 4日目。これから2日間は、ハノイ国家大学自然科学大学附属専科高等学校の生徒たちと共に活動することになる。まず、朝に彼らと顔合わせをし、その後のフィールドワークを一緒に実施した。

まずはエコシティー（ロンビエン）を訪問し、日本のニュータウンをより環境にやさしいまちにした感じのまちづくりが行われていた。緑が多く、ゴミの分別の徹底、まちなかへのシャトルバスの運行が行われ、病院、保育所、カフェがまちの入り口にあり、住むのにはたいへん恵まれたまちでした。その後、スマートシティー予定地（ドンアイン）を見学し、地元の市場でホーチミン同様食品サンプルを購入した。市街地に戻り、JICAの支援で水質が改善したとされるトーリッキ河にてサンプルを採取した。水は黒く、ヘドロが貯まり、悪臭もしていた。残念ながら現在も下水の整備が遅れており、生活用水が流れ込んでいた。

昼食をハノイ市内でとった後、ベトナム科学技術アカデミーのラボを見学した。ベトナムの最先端の研修施設で、日本からも多くの支援が行われ、共同研究も行っている。

その後、この研修での活動を踏まえた研究の発表準備をベトナム国家大学附属高校の生徒と協力して行った。

準備の後、夕食をハノイ市内でとり（久しぶりの日本食）、ホテルへ戻った。

ホテルでは、交流会のリハーサルを行って翌日に備えた。

イギリス研修４日目。朝にヨークミンスター周辺を散歩した後に朝食をとった。バスでヨーク大学まで移動し、昨日と同じ講義室にてこれまでの活動のふりかえりを行った。続いて、昨日Davies教授から提示された問い「What sort of place is the UK?」について、３つのグループに分かれてポスターを作成した。ポスターのタイトルは以下の通りだ。

“British Identities from Japanese Pespective”

“What sort of place is the UK?”

“Accepting Diversity of People and Thinking Positively”

それぞれの発表についてDavies教授から質問とコメントをいただいた。「多文化共生」と「シティズンシップ教育」について、難しい内容ではあったが、英語を使って議論することができた。

午後はヨークからロンドンまで高速鉄道で移動した。宿舎のGRANGE CITY HOTELに荷物を入れ、インド料理屋「Monsoon」で夕食をとった。

〈生徒感想〉

Finishing the workshop, I thought the education was very difficult because anyone doesn’t know what is correct. However, I could understand it was important for us, young people, to have critical thinking and open our mind. In the poster presentation, I could think what identity of the British is. We had found a lot of Britishness in daily life and Brexit, so we emphasized that young people in the UK should discuss them. I learn so many things in Prof. Davies’s lecture. I will make use of what I learned and thought.

ベトナム研修 3日目。午前中は市場を見学した。ロッテマート、ベンタイン市場を見学し、韓国資本の近代的なスーパーと地元の市場を見学した。鶏肉、豚肉、牛肉、えび、魚などの食品のサンプルを収集した。日本のスーパーとほとんど変わらないスーパーマーケットに対して、肉や魚をそのまま置いてあり、ハエが飛び、独特の臭いがする市場の光景は衝撃的であった。

その後、ホーチミン市内で昼食をとった。

ホーチミンでの最後に、ベトナム戦争について学んだ。戦争証跡博物館にて、ベトナム戦争を中心とした展示があり、枯葉剤による被害にあった子どもや多くの写真を見て、戦争の悲惨さを実感した。実際に使われていた戦車や戦闘機も展示されていた。場内は日本の高校生も含め、外国人でいっぱいであった。１時間半があっという間に過ぎた。

そして、翌日からの活動に備えて、ハノイへと空路で移動した。空港よりバスにてホテルへ移動した後、ホテルで夕食をとり、休んだ。品目が多く、好きなものを選んで食べられたからか、身も心も回復できたようであった。

イギリス研修３日目は、ヨークの名勝、クリフォードタワーの散歩から始まった。本日はこの研修の目的の一つであるヨーク大学での発表だ。朝食後、バスでヨーク大学まで向かった。教育学部Ian Davies教授にお世話になり、学内の講義室で本日のプログラムを開始した。まず、アイスブレークとして名前連結と誕生日連結ゲームをした。続いて他己紹介を行った。次に、Davies教授からヨーク大学の紹介が行われた。そしていよいよ生徒の発表である。最初は一年生の創造基礎の取り組みの報告「Local Citizenship Program done by Hyogo SHS」を発表した。続いて、グローバルリサーチについて、「Study in the second grade」として研究動機、目的、研究方法と現在までの研究について発表した。タイトルは以下の通りである。

“Educating Younger Generations About Cognitive Dementia Through Stick Soccer”

“4 Problems of Verbal Communication and Non-Verbal Communication”

“Incorporate active experiences into classes”

“What Do Foreign Tourists Want in Kobe”

大学内学食にて昼食をとり、Davies教授によるキャンパスツアーを行った。続いて講義室において、グローバルリサーチ同様、創造応用の取り組みについて、「Study in the second grade」として発表した。タイトルは以下の通りである。

“Considering Brexit From the View of Media Literacy”

“Why Can’t Trade Unions Adequately Promote Workplace Improvement”

“What industries should Japan develop”

“The Educational Effects of School Club Activities”

“Make Anime Bounding Shopping Easy With New Retail”

そして、Davies教授からイングランドの「多文化共生」と「シティズンシップ教育」について講義とワークショップがあった。最後に「What sort of place is the UK? How can we educate young people so they understand the UK and have the skills to participate in society?」という問いをDavies教授からいただき、生徒は明日のポスター発表に向けて準備した。ヨーク大学のプログラム後、バスで移動し、夕食をパブ「Black Swan」でとった。ここでも生徒は研究についてDavies教授に積極的に質問したり交流を深めた。食後、宿舎へ徒歩で移動し、３日目の活動を終えた。

〈生徒感想〉

Prof. Davies said that the following four points are important in the announcement. 1 Simple slide 2 Clear voice 3 Eye contact 4 unbiased data collection. I asked about Physical Social Health Education, which studies moral education and is similar to moral education in Japan. The most surprising part of the question is the task of teaching PSHE classes.  As they do the class at home room time, there is no specialist teacher or they can change to other time. My image of English education was very advanced.  So I was surprised that there are the same issues as Japanese education. Also, we gave Prof. Davies a lecture on “Citizenship Education”, a specialty of the teacher. One of the most important things in citizenship education was the ability to learn critically.  For example, whether volunteering is not the only purpose. I think this is very important not only for citizenship education but also for all education.

Mr. Davies listened to our presentation and gave us a lot of helpful advice. He said that critical thinking was important. I thought that we need to take things from various viewpoints. When we see things from a fixed point of view, our horizon narrow and we can only think in a biased way. I will use this experience and advice to further develop my future research.

ベトナム研修 2日目。午前中は舟でメコン川を巡った。

水上マーケットではフルーツを購入し、その後、メコン川沿いの農家を訪問し、ライスペーパー、ローヤルゼリー、あめの生産現場などを見学した。途中にあった池や井戸、メコン川で水質調査、農家の加工現場における大気の調査を実施した。

昼食後、キミーズチョコレート工場を見学した。カナダから帰国した方が、地元の農家と提携し、カカオ栽培を始め、高級チョコレートの生産に成功した。カカオの木の栽培現場、カカオ豆からチョコレートになるめでの生産工程の見学を行った。持続可能な農業のモデルとなっているものであった。農家の収入も安定したものになっている。

その後、ベトナムの伝統文化である水上人形劇を観劇し、水の上で巧みに人形を操る様に驚かされた。

少し体調を崩す者も出たが、全員で揃ってホーチミン市内のレストランにて夕食をとった後、ホテルに戻り休んだ。
