本校同窓会館ゆ～かり館において、普通科グローバルリサーチⅠ受講者（１年）３３名と創造科学科２期生（１年）４０名を対象に、神戸市外国語大学教授である野村和宏氏をお招きし講義を行って頂きました。内容はプレゼンテーションの技法やスピーチをする上での注意点などについて、オールイングリッシュで講義をして頂きました。
また、講義の合間に即興スピーチの実践やグループワークも行いました。
生徒たちは講義を聞き、グループワークで意見を交流させたり、実践活動を通してプレゼンやスピーチのコツを学ぶことができました。
＜生徒の感想＞
The point I found very impressive in today’s lecture is “Impromptu Speech Practice”. First, I made a pair, and everyone gave a speech to the classmates. There were 3 themes to talk. I had to talk about “famous person whom I want to meet”. Although chatting is easy, but giving a speech by looking faces of audience is difficult for me. I became nervous, and couldn’t remember even simple words. 1 minute passed very fast to me. If I have a chance to give a speech, I hope I prepare the manuscript well and practice it many times to make a presentation.
I’m not good at speaking English and making speech. So I learned a lot of things from today’s lecture. Through this, I found practicing, making eye contact and reviwing feedbabck are very important to make better presentation. I want to be a good English speaker, so I’ll do my best.
I was so satisfied with listening to the lesson. I was able to notice the importance of slides. The slides help me in my presentation. If the presentation is clear, and easy to understand, the audience will be able to understand my presentation easily. I think it’s good to use the good slides. I was so glad to realize that again. I want to try to make good slides. I had a very good time!!
I thought it difficult for me to give presentation in front of many people, but in today’s lesson, I was able to learn how to make good presentation. For example, I learned many useful phrases which we can use in presentation. In order to inspire the audience, I have to practice a lot. Although each effort is small, but I believe they cause a big change.
Today I learned many things to make a speech. Mr. Nomura’s lecture was in English, but I was able to understand clearly. I noticed that he used gestures and looked our faces. I wasn’t able to look audiance’s face when I gave my speech. Also I looked manuscript throughout the speech. Mr. Nomura never looked manuscript. That is great and I try to do it.
