80回生（1年生）の創造科学科10期生40名が8ヶ国の11名の神戸大学大学院で学ぶ留学生（バングラデシュ3名、インドネシア1名、パキスタン１名、タジキスタン１名、ラオス１名、シエラレオネ１名、スリランカ１名、モザンビーク1名）とExchange Meetingを行いました。生徒たちが創造基礎Lの授業で取り組んでいる地域探究を留学生に説明し、留学生から質問やアドバイスをいただきました。また、留学生からそれぞれの国の文化や教育制度について話を聞きました。生徒たちにとって、すべて英語でコミュニケーションを取るという経験は、難しさを感じてはいましたが、懸命に挑戦する姿が見れました。
以下、生徒の感想です。
・I think it was difficult for me to describe our activities of LB class. I realized there were a lot of words I didn’t know. For example, I was not sure how should we say Nagata’’ku’’ in English. Collect answer is ”district”. I knew this word, but I didn’t know I can use ”district” in this situation. I must study English harder.
Also, I’m interested in the way of thinking in Mozambique. According to his explanation, most Mozambique person believe ”I can exist because of you.”. It is important for them to be kind to other people because it is a same thing as being kind to themself. I thought it is similar to Omoiyari in Japan.
・I thought that 「Don’t think, Let’s feel」.I have tried to tell our activities more details. And international students told them advices. It’s difficult for me to understand what they say but I could understand it because I saw them jesters and faces.I learned can’t understand or speak, but we can estimate what they want to tell.
