「卒業生プレゼン」では、アネカさんが上手な日本語に英語を交えながら、オーストラリアに関するプレゼンテーションをしてくれました。特に、オーストラリアの高校と日本の高校の授業形態や校則、長期休業の長さの違いなどには驚かされました。最後はみな涙して「卒業式」を終えました。たった三ヶ月という短い間でしたが、クラスの雰囲気が明るくなり、思い出をたくさん作ることができました。アネカさん、ありがとうございました。また会いましょう。以下にアネカさんの言葉を掲載します。
WHAT I HAVE GAINED
One of the things I have gained is standard answer of all exchange students ― an improvement in the language. Through everyone’s lovely kindness and patience I have been able to slowly become more able to express myself. But the most important things I have gained are not related to language.
An insight into the wonderful culture of Japan ― the country that intrigues everyone ― where history and tradition combine with modernity. Friendships with a variety of different people ― my classmates, host family, club members. With these friendships I have created many special memories and I hope to create more in the future!
A deeper sense of self. Through my stay in Japan I have found myself become more confident, more resilient, and more aware of all the good things that surround us everyday.
So thank you everyone ― thank you Japan ― for letting me have this truly incredible experience that I can remember forever.
