本校同窓会館ゆ～かり館において、本校創造科学科１期生（１年）４０名を対象に、RREの授業を行いました。２学期のRREではテーマを「環境」とし、学期末にパワーポイントを用いたプレゼンテーション、外国人留学生との交流会を行います。本日の授業では、その導入として、本校ALTが母国オーストラリアの世界自然遺産 The Great Barrier Reef についてプレゼンテーションを行いました。その後、プレゼンテーションの内容を日本語で要約し、感想を英語で書きました。
〈生徒の感想〉
The presentation had a lot of pictures, so it was very easy to understand. The most interesting story was about the starfish. I thought it was a little ironical for humans trying to help the coral. I had a great time. I want to go to Australia someday.
It was my first time to hear about the environmental issues about the Great Barrier Reef, so everything was interesting. The most interesting thing is the fact that we are missing much part of the reef. I couldn’t believe it. I’ve never been to Australia before, so I can’t imagine how beautiful it is, but I am so sad to hear that we are missing the beauty. I want to know more about environmental issues and I’m looking forward to the RRE class.
