Hello again! Lavender here. Great job on midterms! (That’s the word for tests that take place in the middle of a term.) Now you can relax a bit. It feels like summer was just yesterday. I was surprised with how quickly the weather has gotten cooler! Last week was still warm but now it’s cold! Brr! I actually like the cold weather though haha. I can wear nice clothing like sweaters, sleep with lots of cozy blankets, and take long warm baths! Recently, I’ve also noticed some leaves on the ground. I’m excited to see the hills around Toyooka all change color! The trees will be bare and the term will be over before we know it. Before winter, let’s make sure to enjoy the fall season to the max!! What’s your favorite thing about fall? I’m looking forward to all the food fall has to offer like mushrooms, apples, and pumpkins! However, the thing I’m most excited for is definitely Halloween!! It’s fun seeing all the scary Halloween decorations and Halloween themed treats around. In fact, I saw the OCR has some decorations… You should check it out! If we’re lucky, we might even see some costumes next week! Happy early Halloween everyone! Don’t eat too much candy!
