The time has come! It’s time for the second round of tests. Just like last year, I’m here to cheer you on and give you some tips to score 99% on your English test!
I heard that a lot of you guys tend to stay up late doing page after page of practice questions… I guess that’s better than not studying at all, but if I were you, I’d probably give up and play video games after 10 minutes. It’s important to get enough rest when you’re not studying. Studying 10 pages when your brain is at 50% is not as good as studying 5 pages while your brain is at 100%. I think. I’m not sure, actually, because I made it up. Anyway, let’s talk about studying methods.
First of all, it’s good to take a step back and take a broad look at the subject, then decide on an efficient studying method. When I was in high school, I didn’t want to study. That’s why I spent time finding out how to minimize my studying time. If you’re studying English vocabulary, I recommend flashcards. If you’re studying English grammar, I recommend writing example sentences. In other words, for the sake of not studying, find the best way to study.
Memorization drills are useful I guess, but in the long run, you don’t learn how to effectively apply the knowledge. Ok, I’m going to keep writing difficult listening tests. I wish everyone the best of luck on their tests this week! Bye!
