Hola chicos! Es Amarillo!
Recently, I’ve been interested in learning different languages. Estudié español en la secundaria, et j’ai étudié le français aussi.
Did you know? French and Spanish are part of a group of languages called “Romance Languages.” ロマンス語はラテン語から生まれた。As a result, they share many similarities in vocabulary and grammar structure. If you learn one of the languages, it becomes easier to learn the rest!
In comparison, English is a “Germanic Language,” so it’s not quite the same. それでも、英語は多くの異なる言語の影響を受けています。French was the language of nobility and law, and Latin was the language of scholars and doctors, so many words were borrowed from those languages. In fact, 28% of English words come from French!
Actually, many languages borrow words from other languages. カタカナで書かれた単語の多く(すべてではない)は英語から借用されたものである![コーヒー] は英語の [coffee]、だけど [カフェオレ] はフランス語の [cafe au lait]. It’s interesting how many foreign vocabulary words you may recognize from learning other languages! You probably already recognize many Chinese words because of shared kanji with Japanese! However, there are sometimes small differences in meaning, and the pronunciation is different. I heard Korean in particular is easy for Japanese people to learn, because the grammar structures are very similar! I’ve noticed that Korean also has quite the intuitive writing system… unlike English… Well, English is a global language, so let’s do our best to learn it even if it’s difficult! Hahaha…
