Guess who’s back? It’s me, Lavender! Great job on the tests everyone! This was our first week of tests for the new school year. I hope you all tried your best! Now we can take a break from test study and return to normal classes. Lately, it’s been getting warmer… I’m not looking forward to summer… It’s the perfect time to enjoy the new ice cream vending machine we have this year, though! I heard that the first year English classes have point cards where you can earn free ice cream! I asked the ALTs about it, and they said students get 1 point for answering a question in class, 1 point for writing them a letter, and 2 points for a good score on a performance test! For every 4 points, the students can earn a snack, and after 12 points, they can get ice cream! What a great idea! The students are motivated to participate more in class! I wonder if other classes do something like this… I want free ice cream too! Maybe I can practice my English and write the ALTs a letter…
