Hey guys! Long time no see! It’s Lavender! This last week we’ve had a lot of snow! I’ve heard there was a big snowstorm in Russia and in America too! In Kamchatka Peninsula, there was so much snow that it buried people’s cars! In America, the snowstorm is affecting over half of the country! Wow, what a big storm… I’m sure many people that usually never see snow are seeing it now! Our snowstorm almost seems small in comparison. Still, my friends in Kobe and Himeji said they saw a little bit of snow, which is rare for them!

On Thursday, 1/22, school was cancelled. Hopefully, all the students enjoyed their snow day safe and warm at home. The next day, there was still a lot of snow, but classes were back on! I enjoyed seeing the students playing in the snow on their breaks. There were a couple snowmen, snow angels, and a snow slide built, and more than a few snowballs thrown! The weekend’s come and gone, but there’s still plenty of snow with a little more on the way. I want to hit the slopes and go snowboarding!! How about you? Make sure you stay warm everyone! It’s no fun to catch a cold. Looking out the window, wrapped in a blanket with a cup of hot cocoa, is also a great way to appreciate the winter weather! I hope everyone gets a chance to enjoy the snow!
