Wow! Can you believe it? I haven’t written a blog post since last year!
Hi everyone, it’s Yellow. Happy New Year! あけましておめでとうございます！今年もよろしくお願いします。How did you spend your new years? I heard that in Japan, people commonly spend the holiday with their families in their hometowns, and they eat special food and enjoy each other’s company. As for me, I went to many different places by myself, because my family is not here. In the end, I even took a nice nap in the shower at an onsen, and the staff had to come get me. Amazing! By the way, have you drawn your fortune at a shrine yet? For the past two years, I’ve gotten 大吉! But this year… This year I only got 小吉… Oh my god.
Anyway, this week, we held the opening ceremony for our third and final semester of the school year. Well, the opening ceremony was held online. A lot of people are catching colds, so let’s do our best to stay healthy and practice good hygiene! Actually, I’ve had a runny nose for a couple of days now… I’ll be sure to wear my mask.
Are you excited for another semester of school? I am! It’s a new year, and I’m ready to do my best. There are so many goals I want to accomplish this year, so I won’t give up. I must admit, I am a bit sad that the third year students will be gone soon. In only a few weeks, they will be very busy with entrance exams and studying! Let’s all wish them the best of luck.
