Hey guys! It’s Lavender again! This will be my last blog this year! At the end of this semester we had many English events! First, we had our Winter English Boot-Camp! Students and ALTs from Toyooka Sogo, Izushi, and Yoka High School came! They had a great time playing the amazing games Mr. Chapman and our ALTs made. There was a Christmas shopping game and a detective game! The students got Christmas presents too! There will be another English camp in spring, so if you couldn’t make it this time, make sure you sign up for the next one! I hear it’ll be even more fun! ESS also had a Christmas party! Cookies, fried chicken, scalloped potatoes, gingerbread house decorating, Christmas songs, and gift exchanges! Wow sounds fun! I wish I was a part of ESS!! Next, some of our students went to present about their scientific research and Toyooka in Taiwan! Wow! They had to practice their English skills for a long time before their trip. I got to watch them practice and they all worked so hard! I hope they all had a lot of fun in Taiwan!! So cool! Last, our online exchange program students will be making videos over the holidays to send to high school students in America! I wonder what kind of videos the American students will send back? It’ll be exciting to see after winter break! See you all again in 2025!
