本校同窓会館ゆ～かり館において、創造科学科３期生（１年生）４０人を対象に”The Effects of an Aging Population”をテーマに授業を実施した。”The Effects of an Aging Populaiton”とは、主に日本の少子高齢化社会について取り扱った。まず、ALTの教員から出身国のオーストラリアの人口問題についてのプレゼンが行われ、その後、グループ内で”What do you think the government should do to improve the aging population problem?”と”Only 1.75% of people in Japan were born overseas. In Australia, 22% of the population was born overseas.(a)What are some advantages and disadvantages of a multicultural society?(b)Which is more important to you:Accepting immigrants to increase population growth OR preserving Japanese traditions and culture? Why?”についてディスカッションした。
