On October 2nd, a Himeji Nishi Open High School event was held for 2nd year Junior High School students. The JHS students were able to take sample classes in the morning and in the afternoon an information session was held and the JHS students could visit some of the school’s many clubs. Many local junior high school students joined this event. During the information session in the afternoon some first year SGH students from Group B1 gave a presentation about their research project: “Suggestions for a Private Brand for Nisimatsuya”.
They practiced their PowerPoint and explanation many times were attend in order to make it easier for the junior high school students to understand it. It was the first time they had given a presentation for such a large audience, but they expressed themselves clearly using loud voices and gestures in front of the junior high school students. There were many questions about SGH activities from the junior high school students after the presentation.
