Today is the 4th day of SGH training at Kyoto University. The groups mainly spent the day doing research and preparing for their presentations. The groups have many ideas, but some are having difficulties making a concrete plan. In some groups discussion stalled, while in other groups the membered engaged in active discussions. The students brainstormed using tablets prepared by us or their own mobile phones. There were also teams that finished discussion and started practicing for the presentation. We hope that all the groups will do well on their presentations on Saturday.
Today we also listened to Ishida and Onishi, alumni from our school’s 66th graduating class. We were able to hear stories and advice unique to active college students, such as tips for selecting a liberal arts course and detailed information about the Faculty of Law. I think it will be a good reference for the students when they make future course decisions.
