Participants: 55 first year students and 55 second year students
As a part of Himeji Nishi’s international exchange strategy (“the development of knowledge”) that is part of our “Liberal Arts Project” SGH program, an exchange between some students from our school and some students from SYOKA Girl’s National High school in Taiwan was held. The purpose of this exchange was to allow the students to learn about each other’s cultures, lives and customs correctly and foster an attitude respect for others by giving them a chance to meet the students from a foreign country. SYOKA Girl’s National School is a traditional school that was established in 1919 and is one of the top schools in Taiwan.
After a welcome ceremony, the students divided into several groups and did a variety of exchange activities. The students enjoyed the activities such as playing karuta and making origami.
To every student from SYOKA Girl’s National High School, thank you for participating in this valuable international exchange.
