19th Research Lesson of the Year

Activities were held in the IT and LL rooms.
Teaching assistants in attendance: Mr. Higashimoto, Mr. Oga and Mr. Hen from Kyoto University’s Graduate Business Management School; Mr. Okawara from GLORY.
First Year Students
We continued researching our chosen topics, as we were taught by many people. We were making posters and translating our presentations into English.
- We improved our PowerPoint and corrected our business model. Mr. Higashimoto advised us to think about the quality of our plan (Group A)
- We calculated rent and personnel costs for if Nishimatsuya opened a store abroad. We are also going to calculate the costs related to transportation and advertising. (Group B1)
- Mr. Okawara taught us information about goods and techniques. (Group B2)
- We researched about the electricity situation in Nepal and Sri Lanka. We began translating our presentation into English. (Group C1)
- We corrected our diagram about the power plant. We’ll begin to translate our PowerPoint into English. (Group C2)
- We finished calculating some costs. We’ll begin making our PowerPoint and poster. (Group C3)
- We were translating our presentation into English. We discussed about the direction of our research. (Group D2)
- We thought about how to revitalize the shopping arcade in Himeji. (Group D3)
Second Year Students
We were translating our theses into English. We got advice from the ALT.
