ブレントウッド校の生徒たちへの美術の授業
On Monday, September 14, twenty students from our Australian sister school, Brentwood Secondary College, gathered in the art room to create uchiwa (traditional Japanese flat fans) under the guidance of the art teacher. The students selected their favorite patterns and colors from a wide variety of chiyogami paper, cut them into various shapes and sizes, and applied them to the fans. They further embellished their creations using stencils and acrylic paints, resulting in unique, one-of-a-kind fans. Everyone worked enthusiastically and appeared to be thoroughly enjoying the activity.
9月14日（月）、オーストラリアの姉妹校であるブレントウッド・セカンダリー・カレッジの生徒20名が美術教室に集まり、美術の先生の指導のもと、うちわ作りを行いました。生徒たちは多種多様な千代紙の中から好みの柄や色を選び、様々な形や大きさに切り抜いて、うちわに貼り付けていきました。さらにステンシルやアクリル絵の具を使って装飾を施し、世界に一つだけのユニークなうちわを完成させました。参加者は皆、熱心に作業に取り組み、この活動を心から楽しんでいる様子でした。
