First Year Students

Participants: 52 first year students

Today groups did various things:
- Groups C1 and C2: Prepared for the poster session at “The 8th Hyogo Science Fair”
- Groups A, B1, C3, D1 and D2: Prepared for the poster session at “The 3rd Day for High School Students to Think about International Problems” event, which will be held on February 6th.
- Groups B2 and D3: Prepared their posters for the SGH Research and Speech Presentation Exhibition which will be held on February 11th.
Progress comments from various groups:.
- Group B2: We discussed the advantages of selling GLORY’s ticket machines in foreign countries.
- Group C1: We researched the concrete numbers for planned power failures in Nepal.
- Group C3: We improved our poster so that it is easier to understand.
- Group D2: We researched about tourism in other castle towns in Japan and discussed what Himeji City might be lacking.
- Group D3: We went to the library and borrowed a book about town revitalization.
Second Year Students
Where: Main Hall
Participants: 47 second year students
Today the students prepared for the SGH Research and Speech Presentation Exhibition that will be held on February 11th. Students reviewed their rehearsal from the previous week and checked their notes. They will continue to improve their powerpoints, notes and prepare for their presentations.
