Today was the 4th day of the Kyoto Study Trip. Today we were going to participate in Open Campus at Kyoto University all day, but many students spent their free time during Open Campus to prepare and practice for their presentations. Each group has worked hard and I am looking forward to seeing their presentations tomorrow.
Today we also had the good fortune to be invited to see an intensive lecture given by Professor Omoto, who is an expert in business administration and dispute resolution. The class was split into two teams: one played a company that defaulted on a contract due to bad weather, while the other played the company’s client. They simulated a dispute over who should compensate for losses. How lucky our students were to be able to see such a MBA class by a famous professor at Kyoto University! It was all thanks to Kyoto University’s School of Administration that we were able to join the lecture. Thank you very much Mr. Omoto!
