朝のミーティング

Today was cloudy, and a very cold wind was blowing, however we did many things such as ⑴ visiting Boston University, ⑵ visiting the Capitol Building of Massachusetts ⑶visiting the Consulate General of Japan and ⑷ taking part in a presentation workshop.

After assembling at 9:00 am, we walked to Boston University after going over the plans for the day, checking new vocabulary words and learning a little about the separation of powers in the USA.

⑴ At Boston University we were guided by Ms. Akiri who is a Japanese freshman at Boston University. We asked many questions. After 11:00 am, we participated in a lecture with students of Boston University. In the class about “Environmental Change and Sustainability”, unexpectedly the case of Fukushima came up. Having a look at a normal class we came to see some differences between Japanese and American culture and the attitude of students.

understand. Also Mr. Kawati who is the chief of the Hyogo Business and Culture Center came with us.

⑷ In the afternoon we attended a presentation work shop by Mr. Jon Dao. We were fascinated by his presentation and personality, I think we learned a lot about how to make good presentations.

Today we were able to ask many questions and were happy that we were

able to move through the subway during rush house, however most of us slept during the lecture we attended even though we were guests. We were warned to be sure to get enough sleep at night. Some students will wear original study trip t-shirts which we received from today on. Tomorrow, our day will start at 7:30 am!
